Douglas is a short film about a small stuffed chick that becomes a silent companion to an elderly woman and helps her find peace in her final days at a hospice facility.
The film is an ode to those that work in hospice; who are often not recognized for the heroic work they do; while also showing an elderly woman at the end of her life and the range of emotions that come within those last days.
The film is currently in pre-production and will be shooting in October of 2026 in Portland, Oregon.
