About Me

Kristina is a writer, performer and acting coach who is passionately dedicated to performance and the art of storytelling. She has performed in dozens of plays both domestically and internationally including the political satires “OJ Law,” (featured on CNN); Media Whores”, “Scary Monsters” and “Traditional American Values,” as well as many other plays including “The Maids”, “Museum” “The Glass Mendacity” and “Come back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean.” She was part of a small team of actors who won 2nd place at Theater CRAM a 48 hour theater festival that was judged by top industry professionals including film director Roland Joffe and former studio head David Kirkpatrick.

She has performed her one person environmentally themed show “Save Sheldon!!” throughout the United States. She also originated the role of Tess Formicola in J.D. Lewis’ politically charged critically acclaimed play “AmerWrecka” which had its debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has had subsequent runs in Los Angeles and at the Unfringed Festival in Limerick, Ireland. She starred in Ellen Sandler’s (Producer/Writer for “Everybody Loves Raymond”, “Coach”) two-person play “Mom” at the Attic Theater (also directed by Ellen Sandler).

Aside from Save Sheldon she also co-wrote, produced and performed in the performance art piece “Unveiling the Gypsy Soul” and had her first play “The Honey Pot” produced at the Santa Monica Playhouse.

In the film venue she co-starred in the critically acclaimed independent film “Staccato Purr of the Exhaust” (Sundance Film Festival) and has also appeared in many other films including “Without a Map” (AFI Film Festival), “Pool” (USC First Look Festival), “The Groom” and “Moving Alan”. She can be seen and heard in the Adam Sandler film “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan” and was a series regular (the role of “Cat”) on “Blankslate” at the Emmy Award winning www.itsallinyourhands.com. She performed in the award winning independent film “A BIG Love Story” directed by Ryan Sage and has appeared on the Conan O’Brien show as a sketch performer. Kristina was a series regular in the sci-fi web series – the Apocalypse Diaries and has a recurring role in the series “The Exceptionals”. She appeared in the SAG independent film “Tracktown” (featuring SNL star Rachel Dratch) and most recently appeared in the TV series “In The Vault” and the Netflix series “Trinkets”.

As a Voice Over artist she has worked on video games (including the hit video game “Mafia 2”); film; narration, radio, television and the web (The “Nanny Interviews”.). Radio and TV spots include AvoDerm Pet Food, Ronzoni, Shari’s Berries, The Hoosier Lottery, the Oregon Department of Transportation, Kroger Foods and IQ Credit Union. She also voiced the main character, Lana, in the interactive book ‘Adventures in Rose City: Helping Children Cope With Divorce” and provided voiceover for the short film “Maggie’s Farm.” She voiced the role of Diana in a new audio serial called Annex and most recently was the lead in the audio podcast “Short of Breath” directed by award winning filmmaker Dustin Morrow.

Kristina trained at the American Conservatory Theater and the Rob Reece Actors Studio in San Francisco. In Los Angeles she trained at the Actor’s Lab, the Brian Reise Acting Studio, Mark Monroe Acting Studio, Jeffery Passaro Acting Studio and is a graduate of the intensive 2-year acting program at the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio. She has also been a student of improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles.

Over the last decade Kristina has also been a successful acting coach and teacher with the Actor’s Lab in Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon. She is proud to have been one of the acting coaches who has worked with the Cast Iron Studios in 2016, 2017 and 2018 on their Talent Diversity Initiative.

She debuted her original show, “Miss Ethnic Non-Specific” to sold out audiences in Portland, Oregon and is currently adapting the show to film with director/writer Clare Chun. She performed in the role of “Atoosa” in the Profile Theater’s Original play “Claudia: A Viral Love Story” and voiced the role of Pamela in Jason Rising a Friday the 13th Fan Film. She also wrote and performed as our Lady of the Infinite Night Sky in “Refuge” a theatrical installation at Shaking the Tree Theater in Portland. Most recently she was cast in the role of Lauren in Joma Films indie SAG feature “Pelican.”

Kristina is also an environmental activist and is passionate about protecting our earth and animals – especially her rescue Chihuahuas Ernie and Lulu (and angel Olive RIP)!
